Bio for Starr RavenHawk

Starr is a Trini-Canadian transplant who fell in love with the magickal arts at a tender age. She began practicing as a Witch in the late seventies and has studied widely, exploring many traditions and forms of divination. Her interests span spell-casting, amulets, traditional and spiritual healing, the Mysteries of Egypt, British Isles lore, Celtic and Faery magicks, Green Magick, magickal oils, perfumes, incense, mythology, folklore, Obeah, the magicks of the Angels, and much more.

She is the Founder and Elder of the NYC Wiccan Family Temple—the first Witch Temple to ordain Priestesses and Priests as licensed State Reverends. Since 1994, Starr has been a dedicated leader in the New York City Pagan community, offering lectures, workshops, public rituals, festivals, and celebrations. She also founded and continues to run the annual WitchsFest USA – A Pagan St. Faire, and the Witches Masquerade Ball in New York City.

Starr has lectured on WitchCraft at colleges and universities such as Ramapo College of New Jersey and is the founder and creatress of the degreed WitchCraft programs at WFT Academy of Pagan Studies. She is a Reverend, High Priestess, certified adult and youth mental health counselor, and a teacher of Tarot, WitchCraft studies, theology, and more. With over 25 years of experience, she is a truly intuitive Witch, Tarot advisor, and candle therapist.

Currently based in New York City with her son Darien, Starr travels the country sharing her knowledge and practices of the Craft. She is also the creatress of the Journey to the Realm of the Underworld Graveyard Mysteries Kits—each designed to be a therapeutically magickal experience. Alongside her business partner Bronwyn, she co-owns CharmedByStarr.com, an online shop offering handcrafted tools and goods for evolving Witches.
