Join Caroline Tully—archaeologist, exhibition curator, and long-time practitioner of Pagan Witchcraft—for an exploration of death, rebirth, and the Underworld in ancient and modern Pagan traditions.

The cycle of birth, death, and rebirth lies at the core of Pagan mythology. Many myths center on journeys into the land of the dead—stories of descent and return that mirror the natural rhythms of the seasons and our own spiritual evolution. This workshop will guide participants through the sacred myths of Inanna’s Descent, Demeter and Persephone, Orpheus and Eurydice, Circe and Odysseus, Aeneas and the Sybil, and more.

Through guided journeys, mythic retellings, and meditative practices, Caroline will help you deepen your understanding of the circle of rebirth. Drawing on her background in archaeology and deep familiarity with ancient Mediterranean traditions, she will also explore the initiation rites of ancient mystery religions and their connections to modern Pagan funerary rites, ancestor reverence, and ritual mourning.
